Report of activities within the first Transnational Meeting. Project Erasmus plus KA2 (partnership only schools) “The European Newrooms” March 28-30 2017

The first Transnational Project Meeting was held in March 28.-30. 2017 and it was hosted by Liceo Manzoni
Caserta, the Italian partner. During the meeting all partners presented the state of the project in their own
countries, reviewed the feedback from the first meeting, planned the content of the next training event and laid
out the timetable for the rest of the project.

28th of March
During the first meeting the project team has worked on adherence of activities to the program agenda as it was
planned in the candidature e-form. All the partners gathered at the meeting room for the project meeting. The
meeting started at 09:30 in the morning. During this meeting all the project activities were evaluated.
After the discussions on the previous European Newsrooms activities the first transnational meeting continued
with the discussions on the format of the intermediate report of the project. Special attention was paid to the
analyses related with the students’ self-reflections (evaluated by an “ad hoc” survey for feedback at the 1st
learning and training meeting in Finland, December 2016) about using it as a self-assessment tool.
After having lunch, the project partners met for the second session of the meeting. The mmeting focused on the
2nd training event that was to be held in Romania in May. We reviewed the content from the application and
discussed what sort of assignments and experts would be preferable to achieve the objectives.
In the afternoon the project team went to Napoli to meet a video expert , architect Fulvio Cutulo, who cares and
edit the video of prof. Riccardo Dalisi.

29th of March
During the meeting the project team discussed what has been done until the present and how the group
members met the objectives from the application form. The second meeting focused on gathering the inputs and
ensuring content progress for the second specific meeting the will be held in Finland in April/May 2017. The
evening was dedicated to networking with local support group.

30th of March
The project members worked together on a plan for the rest of the implementation phase. We discussed what
kind of exercises and experts we might use in the final training event to be held in Italy in October.

Report on the 1st Transnational Meeting in Caserta Italy

 

The 1st Transnational Meeting of “The European Newsroom”, Erasmus+ project was held in Caserta, Italy, from 28 to 30 of March 2017. It has been an event that brought together  representative participants from all partner schools involved in this strategic partnership.

The project partners arrived in Caserta and checked into the hotel on 27 of March

Organization:

The 1st Transnational Meeting of ”The European Newsroom”, Erasmus+ project took place over three days:  working sessions have been combined with study visits.

 

The working sessions included roundtables focusing on discussing all priorities and agendas, such as development of the project and the best approach to it.

 

Day One, 28 March

Morning (9-12):

Meeting of all partners in Liceo Manzoni: meeting with the Director Adele Vairo. Presentation of the school: facilities, syllabus, teachers and students. Teachers had the

opportunity to know the school and the activities that take place at school.

Afternoon (14-18): Meeting with Architect Fulvio Cutolo, video expert, in famous Architect studio of Riccardo Dalisi in Napoli. Prof. Cutolo explained to the project team members the video tecnique of stop motion and the use of Adobe premiere and Adobe After Effect software.

 

Day 2, 29 March

Morning (10-12): Visit of Santa Maria Amphiteather , Museum of Gladiators, Archeological Museum of Capua

Afternoon (14-20)

Working sessions. Issues discussed

-The organization of short term students exchanges in Romania (May 2017) and Italy (October 2017)

-Topics of next workshops for students in mobility.

– Implementation of activities Plan in order to rearrange some of them according to a rationale schedule.

– The roles and tasks of each institution in this partnership

– Monitoring progress: measurement and analysis of finished or in progress activities, in order to insure their quality.

-How to promote

– Budget Management

-Design of the project web site and logo

 

 

 

 

Day Three, 30 October

 

Morning 10-12:   Cultural part of program, including walk in Caserta Royal Palace Apartments and Park, UNESCO Heritage

 

Afternoon 14-20: all partners gathered at the Laboratory meeting room for the project meeting. The meeting started at 14.00 pm. During this meeting, all the project were evaluated by the project partners.

The project partners shared experiences, challenges and technical knowledge on how to better address the planned activities. They also discussed practical arrangements for next meetings and the evaluation and dissemination of planned key activities.
