Touch-Swipe-Pinch in STEM – Apprendimento di Scienze, Tecnologia, Ingegneria e Matematica (STEM) con i tablet. Corso di formazione Professoressa Arena

La docente di storia dell’Arte e disegno tecnico la prof. Mariarosaria Arena, referente nel nostro Liceo  dei progetti di Alternanza scuola-lavoro, ha seguito a Tallin in Estonia il corso Touch-Swipe-Pinch in STEM – Apprendimento di Scienze, Tecnologia, Ingegneria e Matematica (STEM) con i tablet organizzato da Euneos nell’ambito del programma KA1 di Erasmus + per la mobilità transnazionale dei docenti. Il corso era coordinato  coordinato dall’Università di Tallinn.

Ecco una sintesi dei contenuti del corso tenuto da docenti dell’Università di Tallin con la precisa indicazione delle Apps utilizzate

  • Bring your life’s work together in one digital workspace: guided note taking, purpose, usage and the features, e-portfolio, Evernote.
  • Apps: GDrive, GDocs, EverNote/OneNote, Storyo
  • Setting up a Personal Learning Environment: Google Drive, Evernote, Eliademy  (Mart Laanpere) Collaborative learning on STEM dilemmas (Kai Pata, senior researcher)
  • Digital storytelling: composing a photo story with Storyo (Marina Kurvits)
  • Apps: QR Droid (or any other QR reader), PicPac , 3D Creatonist, Kahoot!, any Origami app
  • Splitting to 5 groups, visiting five STEM lessons in primary school:

– Lego WeDo robotics (teacher Kaire Kukk)

– Coding with Raspberry Pi (teacher Heidi Tark)

– Maths and origami with tablets (teacher Karmen Onton)

– MakeyMakey and playful coding (teacher Petri Asperk)

– 3D modelling  (teacher Tiina Nõges).

  • Hands-on workshop on creating stop-motion videos with your tablet (Birgy Lorenz, ICT manager)
  • Roundtable with assistant principal and two teachers: assessment for learning with tablets
  •  Implementing ICT into science curriculum (Katrin Soika, chemistry teacher)
  • Apps: Storyo, GDocs, Popplet, MindMeister, LoQuiz
  • Creating a photo story with Storyo on the exhibition of medieval mechanisms at the Centre for Ukrainian Culture
  • Creating worksheets with Venn diagrams for paper-making workshop at the Centre for Ukrainian Culture
  • Mobile learning outdoors: designing and testing a mobile adventure game. (Priit Tammets) Apps: Camera, QR reader, LePlanner, Book Creator, iMotion, PicPac, Infogr.a
  • Learning with tablets in a science museum (Mart Laanpere)
  • Towards New STEM Pedagogy for Tablet Classroom. (Mart Laanpere)
  • Project-based learning: creating e-textbooks with Book Creator. (Mart Laanpere)
  • Creating problem-based worksheets involving instructional stop-motion videos with iMotion (IOS) or PicPac (Android) about physics experiments (Mart Laanpere)
  • Explaining scientific concepts with concept maps using Popplet (IOS) or MindMeister (Android).  Creating a flipped classroom scenario for learning at the science museum, using LePlanner (Marina Kurvits).
