Teaching creativity in school. La mobilità della docente di Lingua e letteratura Spagnola Ida Patrizia Dello Vicario (10-16 Luglio 2016, Lubliana, Slovenia)

In questo post condividiamo gli interessanti materiali e risorse che la docente di Lingua e letteratura spagnola prof. Dello Vicario ha raccolto durante il corso in Teaching creativity, tenutosi a Lubliana in Slovenia dal 10 al 16 Luglio scorsi. La prof. Dello Vicario terrà un seminario – workshop ai docenti interessati ad apprendere il Metodo de Bono che si basa su alcune strategie quali PMI (plus, minus, interesting), CAF (consider all factors), C&S (consequences & sequel), AGO (aims, goals, objectives), FIP (first important priorities), Six Thinking Hats etc. Obiettivo principale del corso è stato quello di preparare i partecipanti a guidare professionalmente sessioni di pensiero creativo e costruttivo nelle scuole  per l’intero anno scolastico (una volta a settimana).
Attraverso questo corso la prof. dello Vicario ha potuto riflettere sugli ostacoli che impediscono il pensiero creativo in classe, ha appreso tecniche didattiche che favoriscono la creazione di idee collettive promuovono la capacità di riflettere out-of-the-box, di elaborare cioè il pensiero originale a livello individuale. E’ inoltre entrata in contatto con le best practices facendo esperienza dell’applicazione del pensiero creativo ed indipendente nelle scuole slovene.
La creatività è essenziale per il cambiamento e il progresso. Essa inoltre è fondamentale in un metodo d’insegnamento che si basa sull’inclusione e sull’apertura dal momento che ricorrere alla creatività alza il livello di motivazione e l’impegno in materie scolastiche che sono considerate le più difficili tra gli alunni.
L’approccio all’ insegnamento individualizzato si rivela infatti molto utile per quegli studenti demotivati ​​o in difficoltà e che presentano bisogni educativi speciali.
Utilizzando le tecniche di creatività proposte nel corso seguito dalla prof. Dello Vicario il lavoro scolastico risulta più divertente, interattivo e piacevole.
Qui di seguito presentiamo il programma giornaliero delle attività svolte dalla docente e alleghiamo il materiale per la disseminazione consegnato dalla stessa.

DAY 1
Introductory meeting, explanation of practical arrangements, presentation of timetable, information about course venue.

DAY 2
– Icebreakers, personal learning & action plan, introduction to thinking, a need for teaching creative and constructive thinking in schools, and also to adults in organisations, principles of parallel and perceptual thinking, demonstrations.
– Treatment of ideas – with the basic de Bono thinking tool: PMI (plus, minus, interesting), process and principles of the tool.
– Considering all the factors involved in the matter of our thinking not to forget something, overlook something, leave out something – with de Bono thinking tool: CAF (consider all factors), process and principles of the tool.

DAY 3
– Practising PMI and CAF: with laying down Rules.
– Focus on consequences: C&S (consequences & sequel), process and principles of the tool.
– Focus on purpose: AGO (aims, goals, objectives), process and principles of the tool.
– First-hand experience with thinking tools in teaching.
– A session of decision making.

DAY 4
– A session of planning.
– Focus on priorities – FIP (first important priorities), process and principles of the tool.
-Focus on alternatives – APC (alternatives, possibilities, choices), process and principles of the tool.
– Excursion.

DAY 5
– Looking at other people’s viewpoints: OPV (other people’s view), process and principles of the tool.
– Principles of Lateral Thinking .
– CoRT 4 Tools: YES NO PO (provocative operation) – indication that we are operation outside the judgment system, process and principles of the tool.
– To use an idea creatively means to use it to develop some new ideas. The idea is used as a Stepping Stone to get new ideas, process and principles of the tool.

DAY 6
– The Random Input technique involves the deliberate introduction of something that is unconnected with the situation, process and principles of the tool.
– Concept Challenge involves looking at accepted ideas, things, that are taken for granted, adequate ways of doing things, and challenging them, process and principles of the tool.
– Key learning points, action plan, conclusion.

DAY 7
– Planning follow up activities, dissemination and implementation of learning outcomes.
– Discussing possibilities for future cooperation among participants.
